The Work: 

The Director, Digital Product resource, is responsible for expanding product ownership among our digital products to drive integrated strategy across web properties, audience development, and core marketing technology platforms. This role leads cross-channel product strategy that connects email, website experience, data systems, and growth initiatives into a unified ecosystem.

This position blends strategic planning, technical platform management, and performance optimization. The role requires strong analytical capability, hands-on system fluency, and the ability to translate growth objectives into scalable product solutions across multiple digital properties.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Platform Product Strategy

Develop and execute integrated product strategies that align email, website, and audience growth initiatives.

Identify opportunities to improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization across digital channels.

Partner with Product Leadership to align cross-platform initiatives with overall ecosystem strategy.

Establish measurable KPIs tied to audience growth, engagement, conversion, and revenue impact.

Audience Growth & Lifecycle Optimization

Lead initiatives to grow and segment audiences across channels.

Optimize lifecycle journeys across email and web touchpoints.

Leverage behavioral data and analytics to improve personalization and targeting strategies.

Identify new tools and capabilities to enhance first-party data strategy and audience intelligence.

Website & Digital Experience Optimization

Partner with Editorial, Audience, Sales and Customer Success teams to enhance website UX, conversion paths, and content discoverability.

Develop and test new features that improve user engagement and on-site retention.

Oversee experimentation frameworks including A/B testing and performance measurement.

Technical Platform Ownership

Manage and optimize core marketing and engagement platforms, ensuring alignment between email systems, CMS, analytics tools, and data infrastructure.

Support integration strategy across systems to improve data flow, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Evaluate new technologies and recommend scalable solutions to support growth and ecosystem expansion.

Contribute to broader platform governance, documentation, and process standardization.

Strategic & Ecosystem Development

Contribute to long-term roadmap planning across digital properties.

Support cross-functional alignment with Sales, Ad Operations, Customer Service, and Editorial teams

Build foundational experience in large-scale ecosystem management, including multi-system coordination and performance oversight.

Translate business objectives into scalable, technically sound product solutions.

Requirements

  • Self-starter who takes initiative without waiting for direction
  • Minimum 3 years experience owning Product Management lifecycle with digital product platforms.
  • Product Management experience in these areas - display advertising, programmatic advertising, email marketing and advertising, social media advertising, sponsorships, lead generation, and digital sponsorship packages.
  • Requires understanding how these components are managed individually and combined into client offerings.
  • Proactively identifies issues and drives them through resolution
  • Strong analytical and pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and finding effective solutions
  • Quick learner who adapts easily to new platforms, tools, and technologies
  • Stays current in a fast-evolving digital landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to clearly communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Platform Knowledge (Preferred)

The following technology systems are currently in use. Familiarity with these platforms is preferred but not required; however, the willingness and ability to quickly learn these systems is essential to success in this role.

Success metrics or Target outcomes:

8% revenue growth attributable to product-led initiatives (current product enhancements, conversion optimization, new product releases, retention improvements, etc...)

The environment 

The product team is a 3 person team that consists of the Head of Product, a Director of Digital Product and a Product Technical resource. We work closely together on all product initiatives and collaborate regularly with additional teams: Media Ad Ops, Editorial, Sales, and Customer Success Teams. The cross-functional team collaboration is supportive and integral to our success. 

Compensation and Benefits:

Lexipol offers a competitive base salary, annual incentive, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company match and flexible paid time off.
Base salary for this role is $100,000 plus annual bonus.
